Happy Kids and Honest Mom share a healthy oral care message and have fun
Over half of the children in the UK suffer from tooth decay. It is a widespread problem; however, it is a fully preventable disease. On the 23d of March, Happy Kids Dental together with Honest Mom collaborated with the famous blogger, Honest Mom (Vicki Psarias), to spread the word on healthy habits.
Vicki is famous for her blog, Honest Mom, and her work through TV appearances (ITV Good Morning Britain, BBC Breakfast), House of Commons, and collaborations with ethically conscious brands.
This event was in support of World Oral Health Day on the 20th of March, which aims to raise awareness about the importance of good oral health. Happy Kids Dental is the largest private paediatric dental clinic in the UK and promotes a preventive approach to oral health.
The clinic is specifically designed with children in mind, from the engaging facilities in the waiting rooms to the state-of-the-art equipment and treatment rooms, and skilled and experienced paediatric team.
Happy Kids Dental Practice is dedicated to the prevention of dental disease, believing that prevention is the key to improving the oral health of children – their ethos being that prevention is better than cure.
It was a fun-filled day of activities for the whole family, aimed at educating parents and children about the importance of the preventive approach towards oral health and daily oral hygiene habits.
The event included a healthy breakfast, teeth health check-ups, as well as entertaining and educational activities for families focusing on healthy habits and teaching children and parents and preventative dental care.
Founder, Dr Roksolona Mykhalus, explained: “With more than 20 years of experience in dentistry, it had been a dream of ours to create a truly preventative practise.
“The first location of Happy Kids Dental opened in London 2017 with a clear vision of what the ultimate children’s dental practise should be: unparalleled level of care, in an environment that is friendly, fun, safe and welcoming. Through passion, professionalism, and a true understanding of the needs of children, we feel that we have made this vision come to life.”
