Together Dental Escape Room returns to BDC and Dentistry Show
A charity escape room is returning to The British Dental Conference and Dentistry Show. After its success last year, visitors will have another chance to take part in the exciting charity challenge which is raising funds for Bridge2Aid and Dentaid.
Participants must crack the clues and solve a series of problems in this fun-filled, team building game. The challenge is designed for teams of four to six players who must work together to make their escape within 20 minutes. Daily prizes will be awarded to the teams that find their way to freedom in the quickest time.
All the money raised will be shared equally between Bridge2Aid and Dentaid who are jointly fundraising to improve access to life-changing dental care around the world with their Together Dental partnership. The theme of the game will be “escape from pain” reflecting how both charities work tirelessly to help people escape the misery of untreated toothache and dental infections.
The escape room has been generously sponsored by FTA Law, Practice Plan, A-dec and Henry Schein. Show organiser, CloserStill Media, has also supported the challenge which is now open for booking.
“We first took the escape room to the NEC last year and it was great fun and quite a challenge,” said Dentaid CEO, Andy Evans. “The winning team found their way out in under 10 minutes while other teams had to be given lots of clues to help them escape!”
“This is an unusual and exciting way of raising funds for Dentaid and Bridge2Aid and we’re looking forward to meeting the teams,” added Bridge2Aid CEO Shaenna Loughnane. “We are very grateful to our sponsors and CloserStill Media for their support.”
Show director Alex Harden added: “The countdown is now on for May 2020, when the British Dental Conference and Dentistry Show will return to the NEC in Birmingham for another year of first-class education and discovery.”
The Together Dental Escape Room will be on stand A99 at the BDC and Dentistry Show in Hall 5 at the NEC in Birmingham on May 15th and 16th. The price is £5 per player with teams of between four and six people in each 20-minute game. Advance booking is strongly recommended, go to https://bridge2aid.charitycheckout.co.uk/escape#!/
Tickets to any remaining games will be sold on the day.
Dentaid and Bridge2Aid are running a series of events throughout the year to raise money and fund their work in improving access to dental care. Both charities will have representatives outside the escape room talking to visitors about volunteering and fundraising opportunities.
