Colosseum Dental recognises the need to stand out from the crowd
Have you ever heard the saying, “Those who follow the crowd often get lost in it”? While the source of the quote is unknown, it remains relevant in many different areas of life. Those people who want to be unique or to stand out from others tend do things a little differently.
At Colosseum Dental UK, we take this approach in everything that we do. Not only are we unafraid of being different, but we set out to distinguish ourselves from other providers in the industry. Our passion is excellent patient care and to ensure that we deliver this in all of our clinics, we aim to create the best possible place to work for our practice teams.
We understand that you need the right tools, facilities, training and support to provide exceptional dentistry, and we strive to find the very best ways to give you all this and more. We recently focused on our dental nurses. We received feedback from our people, we listened and we acted. We don’t just talk the talk, we walk the walk. So, what did we do?
Firstly, we wanted to show how much we value our dental nurses. We know that the profession is so often underappreciated and underpaid, but we are different. Whatever is going on in the world, it is our dental nurses that keep clinics operating and keep patients safe. Instead of cutting back like so many companies in dentistry, we implemented pay rises.
We removed any financial advantages associated with age for total equality. We also introduced new holiday entitlement for those dental nurses that have worked with us for longer – just as a thank-you for their continued hard work and dedication.
In addition, we expanded the support available for education and career development. Now, we will not only pay for training in additional skills that are required in the clinic, but we will also pay our dental nurses more when they qualify in recognition of their increased capabilities.
It goes without saying that this will not be the end of changes at Colosseum Dental UK. We are always building on what we have and further improving the working environment for our people. We are willing and able to be different and we aim to use our agility and forward-thinking to be the best we can be for our dental nurses.
