Two private dental practices sold through Pluto Partners
Specialist Healthcare Business advisor Pluto Partners has proudly announces the sale of City Dental in Leeds (top) and Wentwood House Dental Practice in Winchcombe, in the heart of the Cotswolds, (below).
Max Bazzucchini, Pluto Partners COO and partner explained: "After multiple offers totalling £28M were received, including £8M worth of offers from independent buyers, the two practices were sold to corporate buyers for sums in excess of their asking prices.
“We are pleased for practice owners Sunny Gakhal and for Malan and Elouise Cloete. After the successful completions they can finally start making plans for life after dental practice ownership, although they plan to continue working they will do so without the pressure of managing their practices.
“It took less than four months from instructing the lawyers to completing both deals, a statement that demonstrates why correct preparation is key to success. We pride ourselves on being a partner-owned organisation that offers a partner-led service, highly bespoke and as individual as every business we serve.”
Max continued: “Malan and Elouise tried to sell their practice before without success, and when they finally instructed us we took a personalised approach to the sale, resulting in 12 viewings within the first three days. We always push boundaries to improve our clients’ experience, thinking creatively and coming up with workable solutions.
“The key to success is to surround yourself with a network of sociable and talented people across the full range of business expertise, and, most importantly, connecting on a higher level, enhancing collaboration and sharing ideas.
“We would like to thank everyone involved, and send a special mention to 'The Fresh’ marketing company and Prav Solanki (www.thefreshuk.com) who helped City Dental grow constantly through the years. I wish our clients every success for the future.”
Nick Rolph, Pluto Partners CEO and Partner added: “Our partners have been involved in the sale of more than 500 healthcare businesses over the years – predominantly dental practices – and we know that every business is unique. However, the common denominator for success is a thorough preparation and a detailed analysis of the figures, as well as knowing your market and your buyers.
“It’s never too early to start the journey, and it is clearly important to know the value of your business and the changes to make to improve it over the years. Our vision is to become the leading provider of business services to the dental profession. Creating this is only possible by working hard with the utmost integrity, and having the support of an amazing team and very impressive partners.
“Pluto Partners are rapidly growing in the dental sales arena and fast becoming the deal maker of choice for some of the best dental practice buyers and sellers in the UK.”
