Discover DGSHAPE’s CAD/CAM technology at IDS

DGSHAPE (formerly known as Roland EasyShape) will be exhibiting its CAD/CAM technology solutions at IDS 2019.

A spokesperson explained: “Whether in a dedicated lab or milling centre, or an in-clinic or office lab, our milling and 3D solutions offer the flexibility of an open solution combined with the reassurance of a guided workflow, seamlessly integrating with partner technology.

“This makes the DGSHAPE booth at IDS a must-visit destination, providing an opportunity to see an exciting range of innovative technologies in action.”

DGSHAPE will showcase cutting-edge wet and dry digital milling solutions, business intelligence software tools, and more. For example, designed to meet increasing demand for lab-friendly automation, the DWX-52DCi and DWX-52D five-axis dry dental mills will be put through their paces.

Both mills feature an Automatic Tool Changer, capable of holding up to 15 tools for fully automated milling of a wide range of materials. Zirconia, wax, PMMA, gypsum, PEEK, glass fibre-reinforced resin, composite resin and CoCr sinter metal are all efficiently and accurately milled for a variety of applications such as crowns, copings, bridges and veneers.

Dental professionals seeking an efficient wet milling solution will discover the DWX-42W, the latest addition to DGSHAPE’s portfolio of dental restoration technologies.

The DWX-42W enables wet milling of popular glass ceramic and composite resins with high precision and accuracy and now includes new grinding burs for greater material compatibility, increased six-tool Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) capacity to switch out grinding burs as needed for unattended production, ethernet connectivity and a new, high-precision DGSHAPE-engineered spindle.

Seminars and lectures

The company will also host a programme of seminars at its on-booth Seminar Theatre. Industry experts and influencers from across the globe will share their experiences of CAD/CAM technology in a series of practical and interactive sessions.

On Thursday 14th March at 10am, Dr Jan Hajtó will represent DGSHAPE on the IDS Speakers Corner. A renowned speaker in the fields of dental aesthetics, all-ceramic restorations, CAD/CAM, digital dentistry and complex prosthodontic treatments, Dr Hajtó will present ‘CAD/CAM Chairside Milled Restorations- Implementation and Clinical Considerations’.

He will outline the implementation of an open chairside system, provide best-practice examples of integrated workflows and share key preparation principles for CAD/CAM milled restorations.

DGSHAPE will once again be hosting its ‘Happy Hour’ booth party on Thursday 14th March from 5pm and invites its customers and industry partners for refreshments, musical entertainment and the chance to network with key opinion leaders and industry experts.

Patrice Denonfoux, Head of DGSHAPE Roland Central Europe: “Building on the success of IDS 2017, we are delighted to return this year. We invite customers, colleagues, partners and industry friends to see our ever-pioneering solutions – showcasing both hardware and future-focused software business productivity tools.

“This reflects our recognition that technical excellence, aesthetics and commercial return all play an equal part in our customers’ success.”
