Medit launches new T-Series dental laboratory scanners
Medit has today (18th September) announced the launch of its new T-Series laboratory scanners, the T710, T510, and T310. The manufacturer has stated that the open-system scanners offer, “Upgraded performance at an unbeatable price; and with a fully customisable workflow which provides supreme flexibility to simplify production in the dental lab.”
The Medit T710 – the powerhouse of the new line-up – has been equipped with four 5.0MP high-resolution cameras, which have been carefully positioned to ensure there will be zero blind spots in the captured data after a single scan. Full arches can be scanned in just eight seconds with four-micron precision for optimum results.
The new T710 can be used for all indications, including implant cases, impressions, and replica dentures. The model also features a flexible multi-die function and fits any articulator on the market for maximum compatibility with the lab’s existing systems.
Medit’s CEO, GB Ko, said: “I am extremely proud to announce our new T-Series of dental laboratory scanners. Closed systems and limitations when it comes to scanner performance and compatibility have long been detrimental to the efficiency of dental labs, the T-Series addresses all such issues.
“Our team developed the scanners with the needs of dental technicians in mind, ensuring the new models enhance their capacity, speed workflow and improve overall productivity. I am confident to say that with this new line-up, Medit will once again set a new industry standard.”
Established at the turn of the new century, Medit is a global provider of 3D measurement solutions for dental practices and labs – including market leading intraoral scanners – with state-of-the-art technology based on its own patented innovations.
