Speaking to dentists with no previous experience in dental implants, Shaam Shamsi will discuss “Raising Medico-Legal Awareness in Implant Dentistry” as part of the Gateway to Dental Implantology Programme.
“Dental surgeons have a duty of care to ensure they are in a position to provide detailed information regarding the various clinical disciplines to their patients,” says Dr Shamsi.
“With increasing litigation in the current climate, it is expected that all practitioners have a good foundation knowledge of implant dentistry, even if they do not have the experience or are not in a position to offer it themselves.
“The ADI Team Congress is an amazing event bringing together well respected implant clinicians from all over the world. It provides a platform for enhanced learning and I feel privileged to be part of this team in March 2017. The ADI has spread its wings successfully nationwide and internationally and continues to grow from strength to strength offering a wealth of knowledge to its members.”
